Having My Say!

In the past week, I have thought a lot about life in general due to having our basketball season come to a close. One quote that I feel strongly about is, "Everything happens for a reason!" Our team thought we had it all together to get down to the state tournament: the talent, the chemistry, the love for the game and each other. We were really excited until our dreams came to a screeching halt with a lose to the state champions. I do not understand why we lost still. I thought all the hard work we put in would pay off. I realize we have to trust God in everything He does. He is setting each one of us up for something special I feel. We lost for a reason, but I know each one of us is trying to figure out why. We just got back from watching the state tournament at ISU. We knew we could have competed with each one of those teams. Each one wanted it so bad. We have to know that life is not fair at times and everything does happen for a reason even if we do not know the reason yet! We just have to keep pushing through to get to our dreams!
